20" Eagle Claw pipe
An authentic Native American made item by Fedelia Beaver a registered member of the Navajo Nation.
This large decorative pipe is 20" in length and features a large (polyresin) imitation eagle claw. The talons are spread around the elk antler pipe bowl.
The pipe stem is wrapped in dark brown leather and has a 4" section of multi colored seed bead wrap which is packed with clay between the beads in the traditional Navajo way.
Also along the pipe stem are two hand chipped stone arrowheads on either side of the bead wrap, a small 1" medicine wheel, and a section of bone which I was told was from a domestic fowl goose.
Hanging down from the pipe are three antiqued imitation eagle feathers which are attached to leather with red & black glass crow beads and a 6" fringed bottom leather medicine bag.
The mouthpiece of this pipe is also made from elk antler, and there is leather fringe at each end of the pipe.
The leather hanging strap is adorned with an additional stone arrowhead and a buffalo tooth.
New & functional.
Overall hanging dimensions are 21" W X 25" H
Comes with certificate of authenticity.
Sorry, but because this item has elk antler & buffalo teeth, we cannot export it outside of the USA. This includes APO addresses.
