This large war club is made using a real buffalo jaw bone and is 27"in length from end of handle to the L of the jawbone.
This artifact is quite heavy. Weighs 2 lbs 3 oz!
Wooden handle is painted black and decorated with antiqued (brown) brass tacks.
Rest of handle has a 6" section of brown, yellow & black seed beads wrapped around it. There is beaver fur trim in either side of the bead wrap.
End to end on the handle there is a decorative loop consisting of alternating 1.5" length white bone and black horn hairpipe beads, brass beads and red, yellow and black glass crow beads.
From the hinge end of the jaw, there is long black horse hair & golden leather fringe decorated with yellow, red & black glass crow beads.
There is no hanging strap for this item.
